Mike M. called the meeting to order, Scott second it.

Treasurer’s report

All pay to participate fees are to be paid the band boosters. Also, the pay to participate fees must be paid by the 1st. Football game or the student will not be able to participate. There will be no installment plans for pay to participate fees.
All band fees are to be paid to the band boosters. Students will need to pay all band fees by band camp, or the other option will be the parents will need to sign a payment plan commitment to make payments on band fees.
All members of the board agree to the signing of the commitment to pay fees. Also need to make commitment available online.
The board has proposed that we offer only the seniors 25% off of their balance if paid in full and any checks must clear.
Mike R. motioned to approve, Geni Snell second it. All approved.

Fundraising committee:
The concession stand business is still being talked about. There is a possibility that the final game may be played at the new school. The discussion about water/electric for new concessions are ongoing.
We are still trying to get volunteers for the yard sale.
No response on Miami hosting.
We have already sent in the orders for the wreaths and they will be paid for after fundraiser ends.
Candy sales for TMS will be 8/25/11-9/8/11 and the wreath sales will be 10/3/11-10/26/11.
We have sold 1 jacket, 2 pillows and 5 Kroger cards.
Directors report
: Right now everything is going great.
Still trying to figure out practice times for jazz bands @ the middle school.
Concert band to be at graduation @ 6:30.
Old Business:
Geni is taking over the task of dealing with band jackets. The band boosters will not be taking orders or money for the jackets. Students will need to order and pay at Lebowski’s.
Mike R. motions, Sherri Campbell seconds it and all approved.
New Business:
The boosters have suggested that if a band member has a sick family member or has a family member pass away that the boosters will give the family a $50.00 Kroger gift card.
Scott Campbell made the motion, Jennifer Marston second it, all approved.
Bud moved to adjourn the meeting; Mike R. second the motion and it passed unanimously.
The next Board meeting will be in the media center at the high school on July 12th. @ 7:00 pm.
