Parent / Student Information
It is great to have your student interested in the Talawanda Schools Band program! We have a premier organization of bands that have a long standing history of performance excellence and competition success and a lot of fun and fellowship along the way!
A great deal of the support that allows our bands to do the great things they do comes from the volunteer efforts of our Talawanda Band Boosters organization (TBB). The TBB is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the support and encouragement of our band programs and the students that are involved in them.
As a parent of a Talawanda Bands member you are automatically a member of the TBB. There are no dues to pay, except that we ask you to participate as you can. We have numerous volunteer teams that involve service and fundraising opportunities. We ask that you review these opportunities and see if there is an area of interest or expertise you may have, and then step forward and volunteer.
Also, our TBB organization is led by a Board of Officers that consists of a President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer, Middle School Liason, Communications Chair and The Webmaster. All TBB meetings are open to the public and are generally held on the second Tuesday of each month at the High School in the Music Room at 7:00PM.
Please feel free to contact the TBB at firstname.lastname@example.org to give us your contact information or click here to receive our email updates and requests. The Board or team chair will send out emails as service events or fundraisers come up on the calendar and need volunteers.
Thanks in advance for your help and assistance with the Talawanda Bands program and the Talawanda Band Boosters!
